Byrness to Windy Gyle

2 nights at Byrness, and 2 days of great weather to finish off with.



This time we were up against it, we had to get to the pick up point at the same time as a team of crack professional walkers. OK, we were put to shame by a bunch of pensioners, the oldest of which  was 80!!

 First a hard slog up to the Cheviot Hills out of the woods.

Watch out for unexploded bombs!
