Alston to Greenhead

Mostly rain the second day, a shorter day (about 17 miles) mostly following the South Tyne from Alston, up to Greenhead, where we met up with Martin.

some old stone building by the river ...

Greenhead Hostel was not great and we were glad to be only spending one night there.
