On the day we came across the Kinder Downfall .. it disappointingly flowed the normal way .. ie. down rather than famously .. uphill ...

I thought, what better way to dip my toe in the water.

This was a 2 day walk from Edale to Standedge, staying at a B&B mid point between them.

Introduction

I've always enjoyed walking in the hills and mountains, but its always been limited to having to get back to the place you started off from. The idea of walking for a purpose to get from A to B, rather than just for the fun of walking I find intriguing.
